In the USA we celebrate Independence Day on July 4th. Families usually go to the park and have a barbeque. We eat burgers and hot dogs. After the barbeque, we watch fireworks. It is a fun day because we can visit with our family and friends.

My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is a day to give thanks for 
everything that we have. On Thanksgiving, my family has a huge lunch. We eat turkey and stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, bread and cranberry sauce. Everybody in my family will attend - uncles, aunts, cousins and grandparents. After we eat, the men usually watch American football and the women clean the dishes. It's a great day.
